He’s also been known to play golf (poorly).
Weird facts about Jonathan – he was once ranked in the top ten in the nation at whiffleball, played bass guitar in a rock band for eight years, and spent his college years playing semi-professional poker.

Crystalynn Shelton is a small business advisor specializing in financial accounting software training, coaching, and consulting. She is the author of three Amazon Bestsellers: Mastering QuickBooks 2020, Mastering QuickBooks 2021, and Mastering QuickBooks 2022. In addition to being a small business owner, she has more than 20 years of experience leading accounting departments in the entertainment, oil and gas, education, and computer technology fields.
Crystalynn graduated with her accounting degree from UTA (University of Texas in Arlington), and she is an Advanced Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor. This year, Crystalynn was named as one of the Top 100 ProAdvisors in the country! Crystalynn has taught accounting, bookkeeping and QuickBooks courses as an Adjunct Instructor for the last 12 years at the University of California at Los Angeles Extension. When she is not in the classroom, Crystalynn enjoys trying new restaurants with her hubby, watching her Dallas Cowboys play and curling up with a good book.

Tyler Otto along with his wife Karen are the owners of Specialty Bookkeeping, LLC, where he has developed a winning formula for an innovative, virtually-based accounting and tax firm. His company leverages technology to simplify clients’ financial processes, creating greater visibility into their financials and driving profit. He has extensive experience in the finance side of the hotel and tourism industry, where he served as the Corporate Director of Finance with Imprint Hospitality in 2020. Tyler has been featured on the I Love Bookkeeping and Building the Premier Accounting Firm podcasts and most importantly, presented at BKX 2022.
Tyler has a passion for team development and promoting fun and collaborative cultures. He believes that a dedication to continuous improvement and learning is the backbone of any successful venture. He loves helping clients make more money. His career has been focused on serving as a financial analyst and business partner, helping business managers make strategic decisions that will grow their businesses for years to come.
Tyler is a fanatic about making new relationships and collaborating with others on large projects. He lives in Salt Lake City, Utah with his wife Karen and two children. Prior to founding Keeper, Ben was the CFO of Mira, a Sequoia-backed tech startup. At Mira, he was responsible for all financial operations, from bookkeeping to board reporting.
There, he experienced firsthand the pain of managing a month-end close, which inspired him to build Keeper.

A basset hound worshipper and keynote presenter, Geni believes there is magic in the numbers and is on a mission to unlock the magic so business owners can apply it in creating the life of their dreams. Owner and Founder, Primary Focus Bookkeeping LLC
Kanika is the owner and founder of Primary Focus Bookkeeping LLC. She started her bookkeeping, tax, and business consulting firm in November of 2015. Prior to establishing her firm, Kanika spent over 15 years in corporate accounting. She started out as a staff auditor with Arthur Andersen (yes, a very long time ago…LOL) in Houston, TX, and quickly went into industry working primarily for publicly traded companies in their financial reporting departments. She has both a bachelor’s and master’s in accounting from Mississippi State University. Her son Kellen is her reason and the joy of her life.
When not working in her business, Kanika enjoys cooking MOSTLY healthy meals, making soap and lip balm, reading, homeschooling, and playing the occasional video game with her son, and exploring new places both in-person and virtually.
Owner, Watch My Green
Justin Boynton is the owner of Watch My Green. He is a former banker turned bookkeeping business owner and started his business in 2017 after completing Bookkeeper Launch. He started working with the Bookkeepers.com team in late 2021 and has loved watching the business grow!
He is a father of 3 boys, and his wife Rachel is a school teacher. He enjoys coin collecting, woodchopping, and hunting, and is a fan of all Boston sports teams.
He is a firm believer that anyone who has a skill should look at owning a business. It is the best professional decision he has ever made.

Jocelyn Maynes is the founder and president of Primary Bookkeeping, a boutique virtual bookkeeping firm and based in Los Angeles, CA. Jaime Rodriguez is the Founder and CEO of Paralledger, a leading bookkeeping company specializing in services for law firms. Based in Houston, Texas, Jaime is a dedicated entrepreneur and a proud first-generation immigrant with a passion for excellence and a dedication to empowering others to achieve their entrepreneurial dreams.
Jaime attended Sam Houston State University, where he earned his degree in accounting. He honed his skills as a controller for an immigration law firm before deciding to venture out on his own. In the summer of 2017, after completing the Bookkeeper Launch program, Jaime established Paralledger to provide top-notch, outsourced bookkeeping services to law firms. Valerie Johnston is the owner and founder of Profit Meadow Bookkeeping. She launched her business in 2017 after hearing about a guy named Ben Robinson. In a prerecorded video, Ben told her she could start her own business and stay home with her infant daughter. She believed him.
Valerie is the author of two Amazon Bestsellers in nonfiction: D.I.Y. Bookkeeping and Minimalism for Business Owners. She also writes paranormal romance novels. In her debut novel, she wrote a present-day retelling of Beauty and the Beast where the GIRL is the beast. She is currently writing a 16-book series in the paranormal romance genre.
In addition to a business owner, bookkeeper, and author, Valerie is also a Christian, wife, mother, artist, minimalist, and dreamer.

Ben Robinson is the founder and CEO of bookkeepers.com. He has helped thousands of Bookkeeping Professionals to start, grow and transform their practices into true businesses.
He used his background as a CPA for small businesses to formulate a blueprint that helps our profession deliver more value to our clients and earn more money.
Ben was an air-traffic controller in the Air Force before graduating from the University of Central Arkansas. He proudly supports Bookkeeping Professionals around the globe through a partnership with Charity Water.
He lives in Atlanta and has three grown children, one in college and two who work with him.
